Summer camp for adults! This all-day floral retreat is a chance to immerse yourself in flowers, food, and the farm. We’ll spend the day harvesting and designing, covering both bouquet-making and scalable vase arrangements. Learn how to plan and grow a cutting garden for continuous blooms throughout the season. We’ll discuss variety selection, sowing schedules, and harvesting techniques, along with our favorite seed and bulb sources. Participants will also receive a detailed crop planning guide to take home before heading to the garden to cut flowers for the next day’s design session. A hands-on floral design session co-taught with Braiden Crouse of The Flower Shepherd. We’ll explore scalable vase arrangements, followed by a large-scale statement piece demonstration—offering techniques for bringing movement, depth, and artistry into floral work. This session is designed to stand alone, but those who attended the Cutting Garden Planning & Harvesting class on September 20 will have the added benefit of working with flowers they harvested themselves.

This kid-oriented wreath workshop will have lots of materials available, warm drinks, and lots of hands-on help. We love making wreaths with kids because they are full of new ideas! We'll go on a brief walk in the forest to choose textures and colours before making our own creations to take home. Ages 7-12 - adult helpers welcome!
