Summer Flower Retreat

A summer camp for adults, this all-day floral retreat is a chance to immerse yourself in flowers, food, and farm life. We’ll spend the day harvesting and designing, covering both bouquet-making and scalable vase arrangements. With plenty of time for creativity, a garden-fresh lunch, and a relaxing swim at the lake, this is a taste of longer flower camps to come.

Morning

  • A farm and garden tour—we’ll walk the fields, share our growing methods, and answer all your flower-growing questions.

  • Guided harvest session, selecting flowers and foliage for our designs.

  • Vase arrangement demonstration—we’ll explore techniques for creating supportive, natural structures in the vase, alongside intuitive design concepts.

  • We’ll use our arrangements to create a gorgeous summer table.

Lunch

  • A farm-sourced meal prepared by Chef Deb

Afternoon

  • Exploring hand-tied bouquets, learning both freeform and spiral techniques.

  • Ample time to create your own bouquet and free-play with flowers.

  • A relaxed, open-ended time to ask all your floral and design questions.

  • To close the day, we invite you to enjoy the fields and the lake—families welcome.

Included

  • A seasonal farm lunch + snacks.

  • Your bouquet (wrapped in paper) and vase arrangement (simple glass vessel) to take home.

  • Access to our collection of tools and supplies.

  • Coffee, tea, and treats while we work.

Materials

July is a season of full abundance—a peak bloom moment when everything flourishes at once. Expect a mix of garden roses, dahlias, snapdragons, zinnias, celosia, marigolds, and trailing vines like nasturtium and clematis. Tomato vines, golden rudbeckia, and sunflowers add a touch of wildness.

Location

We’ll use the whole farm—our barn studio, flower fields, and private dock.

Pricing

$475 per person.
